15 minute break so I write.

There are many questions out there in life. Some questions that I've mulled over are, 'what makes a good teacher?', 'what makes a good leader?', 'what is it to be truly sincere?' These seem to be more about definition and criteria. Then come other questions which start off with 'why' or 'how'? I try not to think about the 'when' questions as I come to believe more in alignment, presence, love and depth. I'm mindful we must not go too inwards. We must not think too much. Balance is the governing principle in my life on a macro level.

Push and pull. Out to in. Loop to unloop. Nothing is absolute. The ego to an ego death, back to a new ego.

Silence and noise. A friend quoted his friend, "We are slaves to our thoughts and we are owners of our silence." I don't interpret this as us needing to be quiet all the time. Although I do appreciate how 'silence is golden and speech is silver.' Absolution is simple. The essence and core of anything is very pure. If you are trying to teach anyone about something, the goal is to explain it in absolute concision. This would be closer to silence than it is to noise.

What about if anyone misinterprets you? Well, that's okay. Impermanence and acceptance of the way things are, dictates that if someone misinterprets you, you do not need to prove yourself. There is no need to defend the truth. There is no need to create conflict. Yet at times, we must stand up to protect what we believe in. Such is the nature of life. Adaptation. Duality.

The following have really began to sink in.

- Love is the only way to heal and grow. Smile, light a spark in those you meet, no matter how small the interaction. We are all connected.

- For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

- How I do anything is how I do everything

- Inner peace is the acceptance of all things, there is no such thing as good or bad. And to achieve this, we must sincerely and passionately be challengers of all natures, to increase our capacity.

Apologies for the messy writing. Back to class :)
