Decision making

What a task. I'm not a fan of multiple choice as it often has answers where all seem equally as valid, thereby putting huge limitations on expression and freedom in interpretation. Decision making feels similar, where two paths have that 50/50 split and you just have to pick the path that seems that 1% better at the time. In hindsight we often see it was just a circumstantial situation and clarity, coupled with experience would make us do choose otherwise...

So one can argue we can never truly make the "best" decision at the time when decisions must be made. Everyone can be an expert after the fact as the gravity of the situation has passed as too would the heavy responsibility of the consequences of a "wrong" decision. I'm rambling. It's not the best decision, in my opinion. Rather, it's what is the best we can do to make an optimal decision at the time?

Trying to free yourself from the unnecessary. What is unnecessary is difficult to determine. From an adult's perspective, a young teen's 'need' to appeal to their peers seems unnecessary but again, one's needs are circumstantial to their present and timeline. We are just in a place, at a time, for a reason. Without treading too heavily, we should try to uncover the impurity to reach the purest form of decision we can possibly make at the time. We should be mindful of is humanly possible to do when making a decision. We are not perfect, we just do what we can.

Be mindful to consider others too. A balance of thinking of yourself and of the world around you.
