Lucid dreaming

A somewhat stoic rendition of my lucid dream. I wrote this script down right after waking up.

"Deep in my dreams,

I found myself in his room.

Quiet steps, wary not to disturb,

Knowing he's a light sleeper.

I hid by the window and waited till my heart swelled,

Giving me the courage to speak.

Then, I poured out my heavy heart for what felt like a lifetime.

He was already awake, unstartled,

Never questioning why I was there.

Or who I was.

Then, we talked…

A moment that felt like forever.

Heartfelt words flowed freely.

Then I woke,

I knew what it all meant,

And what I had to do."
