Our minds move faster than our actions. Try this... Match your actions to your mind: how fast you type, how fast you speak, how fast you try to throw a punch or how fast you try to walk. It's a futile race. Readjust your mind's pace. Readjust what is catalysing your mind to go faster, the culprit. Shock the system by doing something different (occasionally) so your mind looks at things in a different way. This has a flow on effect to other things within the day to day.
Nature makes us much like animals. Rabbits dig holes, birds may gather things for a nest. There's life happening all around us. Do you see that we are part of an ecosystem? Do you see the beauty, the awe and the magnificence of its scale? Stop worrying. If you are doing your best each day and continuously developing, don't worry. Just keep prodding.
We are all scared of something. Some would say they are scared of themselves, some are scared of failure, inadequacy, some are scared of death. We are all scared of something, conscious or not. That's what connects us all.
Allow challenges to your beliefs. Look at it as free, genuine advice. I wonder what they meant by that as objectively as possible. Ultimately, you must be your own biggest critic but also your own biggest supporter. Genuinely don't think any less of anyone. Genuinely. Catch yourself when you do realise you are thinking less of someone. See beyond!
What is humbling me is not what I initially thought: a big bang. Rather, the small, ebbing fragility of life. And that is beautiful.
